1. What is ECSS?
ECSS is a sport and social club that sets up sports leagues for adults in the Ft. Walton Beach area. In addition to sports, we also offer post game happy hours for each sport and a grog marches (Downtown FWB, Harbor Walk, etc.), Social events (Parades, ECSS teams sponsored 5ks, etc.) and volunteer opportunities (Relay for Life, Toys for Tots etc.).

2. How do I sign up and how does it work?
You may signup online on our website, www.ecssleague.com. Female participants may receive discounted prices for league sign-ups. Before signing up check with the admin or should be posted in the information for that league. It will be under Promo Code. When signing up online, click the sign up online button under the sport and league of your choice, and choose from the following three options:

  • Free Agent - Sign up individually and ECSS will place you on a team with other free agents and/or small groups.
  • Team Player - Team Player join a specific team by yourself or with friends.
  • Team Captain - You can also sign up full teams this way if you already have a previous team or a large number of players.

  • Each member of a small group will register and pay for themselves individually. Please see the registration process below.

If a team has not reached the specified number of players by the deadline (deadlines differ for each league and are sent out via email when the league is close to full), ECSS will combine other team players and free agents to make a complete team.

DEADLINE INFO: ALL sports have a deadline to sign up can come as early as a month before the start of the league. We do our best to notify teams that have not yet filled up as to a new deadline of when they must get the rest of their team members signed up. After that deadline there is no guarantee of them being placed on your team as all registered players at that time will be combined to form teams.

TEAM PLAYER REGISTRATION PROCESS: Here is the process every member of a team needs to follow to sign up online.

    PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

Go to the home page select 'Join A League' then select the league you would like to register for and click 'Register'. Click on team player member and agree to the waiver. Please make sure you read the waiver.

Each person on the team only pays for themselves (including the person that creates the team).

Fill out the required information about yourself on the next page and click continue.

**The first person to sign up in the group will choose the option to create a NEW team player. Give your team a name that others will identify with (this may be a team name, or simply your own name, e.g. 2 Legit to Kick).

**If your team has already been created, and you are a joining member, you will be asked to choose which team you want to join when signing up.

A team captain or organizer may sign up an entire team. There are 3 options to choose from when signing up your team.

To sign up online, simply click the Register button under the specific league for which you are would like to register. Select team registration and click "I Agree" and Continue. Fill out the form and click Continue.

NOTE: If some of your team roster information is not quite ready, please do not let this deter you from signing up. You can sign up and pay, forgo your team roster information, and then you may log back into our system under the member login link with your username and password to make changes to your team roster, team name, and t-shirt sizes. 16. What if I don't play sports?
As for sports, you can pass on the word to someone you know who does and then root them on at their games!! We also offer the opportunity for you to purchase a members card for $10. Go to our website www.ecssleague.com and click the policies page to learn more.

      18. What are the team captain's responsibilities?
Team captains should make sure that they have enough players to field a team each week by emailing the team and having a starting line-up come game time. Should there be any questions or concerns over the course of the league, it is the team captain's responsibility to contact ECSS.

      19. Can you set up practice fields for us?

No. We do not set up practices; however, you are more than welcome (and encouraged!) to set something up for your team on your own.

      20. What are the time commitments?
In most leagues you will play one-hour games once a week. A league lasts roughly 8 weeks baring any setbacks with weather, and that does include the play-offs. Please check out the rules of the sport you are interested in to get more information!
